Subaru has recently pulled the wraps off the BRZ tS STI Concept on its local auto market, revealing cosmetic changes and no engine upgrades.
Bad news for fans of the Subaru BRZ STI who were expecting a hotter version of the sports car because changes will be limited to its exterior design and no engine upgrades will become available. The model in question should have been hotter than the outgoing version but the final production car will be based on the BRZ tS STI Concept which has been recently unveiled. The model in question was showcased at Fuji Speedway in Japan, a festival which celebrates the original AE86.
The Subaru BRZ tS STI Concept has received some visual upgrades like the lip spoiler, side skirts, large rear wing mounted on the boot lid and some other tweaks. The model in question will be offered in two trim levels, once it will hit the market, the basic tS and the tS GT Pack, with the first one missing the Recaro front seats and the black wheels. Both versions will receive the STI special badging, the upgraded suspension system and the new fog light surrounds.
