The Japanese automaker is enjoying an extended round of success in North America and plans to solidify its newly found grip on the US market by delivering an all new generation of the Impreza compact.
But guess what – before that we need to drool over the sporty looking Impreza Sedan concept, which comes featuring the automaker’s all new Dynamic x Solid design strategy and delivers an aggressive exterior design that also looks seriously more stylish and upscale than the current model. The front end comes with a hexagonal grille and with hawk-eye –inspired headlights as well as LED fog lights. The Ruby Red Metallic paint job bodes well with the sporty looks and we also noticed the gloss black accents and 19-inch alloy wheels. The dynamic stance is mirrored by the side where we have protruding character lines as well as arrange of metallic trimming. We also paid attention to the sloping coupe-like roofline and the short trunk with integrated spoiler.
Thanks to the measurements of 179.3 inches (length), 70 inches (width), 57.2 inches (height) with 105.1 inches wheelbase, the company says the concept is able to comfortably seats five adults. We’re hoping the production model would take as many cues possible and we already know the upcoming Impreza generation will deploy an all new architecture designed to be modular and would reach production lines late next year. Technical details are still scarce but we are also mulling for the introduction of a brand new generation of fuel-efficient engines that also boast cylinder deactivation technology.
