Subaru Australia has released some fresh details with its WRX STI NR4, so you came to the right place if you are looking to find out more about it.
It’s Japanese, it’s blue, it has a large rear wing and a roll cage in the cabin so it definitely can attract the attention of most petrol heads. We’re talking about the Subaru WRX STI NR4, which is now being highlighted once more. The performance vehicle has been jointly developed by the carmaker and its motorsport partner Possum Bourne Motorsport (PBMS) and it is homologated by FIA. The model can compete in the FIA WRC2 and ERC2 regional / progressive national championships, as the carmaker is saying.
Nick Senior, Managing Director, Subaru Australia, said: “The attention to detail on this car is just amazing and it’s a compliment to PBMS that they have only honed their skills further since they partnered us in producing 10 consecutive years of Australia Rally Championships.”
The new Subaru WRX STI NR4 will only become available in White or WR Blue finishes and it will be getting the OMP sport seats inside it, a six-point harness, an OMP 3-spoke steering wheel, a roll cage, a completely stripped out interior, gunmetal grey finish and alloy pedals amongst others. Under its hood, the vehicle will be using a 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine. We still have no clue on how much power this is producing or what are the performance figures of the model but chances are we will find Subaru detailing the WRX STI NR4 in the future as well.
