Subaru Legacy Concept to make world debut at LA Auto Show image

Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. (FHI), the company that builds Subaru vehicles has just announced that the Legacy Concept will make its world debut this month at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show.

Built since 1989, the Legaxy mid-size car is Subaru’s glagship model and of course is awaited with eagerness as the concept points the way the upcoming model will look like.

The concept model eschews the current model’s three-box silhouette in favor of an oh-so-trendy coupe-like roofline. The Japanese automaker has adopted “Ocean Silver Metallic”, a special color blend that consists of a light blue metallic silver with a metallic sheen and feel. This paint treatment further brings out the Legacy Concept’s solid styling.

The bold fenders accentuate the 21-inch wheels, and also express the stability and performance of S-AWD concept, while those three-dimensional headlights make the model look very ‘serious’ when it comes to driving dynamics.

There’s no word on powertrain or gearbox just yet. The concept celebrates the Legacy’s 25th anniversary.

The 2013 Los Angeles Motor Show will be open to the public from November 22 through December 1, 2013.
