The first rendering with the Touring version of the new Subaru Legacy has recently hit the web and it might provide us with a first look into the future second body style of the model.
The 2015 Subaru Legacy may have been officially introduced just last week, during the 2014 Chicago Auto Show, in a premiere, but that doesn’t mean that rendering artists can’t perform their work and do what they do best in order to virtually create a second body style for the model in question. Theophilus Chin, the creator of this rendering, is stating that the company will not be producing a 2015 Subaru Legacy Touring, but as we all learned, never say never in the automotive industry.
The new Subaru Legacy is now getting the LED taillights, the raked windscreen, the Active Grille Shutter system on the 2.5i models, muscular wheel arches, higher quality materials and an improved overall design. The cabin of the model has received some metallic trim, soft-touch plastics, a 6.2 inch display for the infotainment system, additional room and others. Power is being provided by a 2.5 liter four-cylinder engine, which is rated at 175 HP (130 kW) and 235 Nm (174 lb-ft) of torque, and by a 3.6 liter six-cylinder unit, with its 256 HP (191 kW) and 334 Nm (247 lb-ft) of torque.
