Subaru has recently released the first teaser images with the LEVORG Concept, which will be officially presented to the public during the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, next month.
Subaru’s latest creation is named the LEVORG and it’s a concept sports tourer, serving as a preview for a future production car, which will be launched on the company’s local auto market next year. Subaru says that the LEVORG name comes from combining Legacy, Revolution and Touring. The model will come with the EyeSight driver assist system, adding new safety functions and steering support control.
“LEVORG has a sports car feel, offering great drivability, plus safety and environmental credentials combined with the practicality of a touring car”, as the company is saying in its official press release. It is currently under development for production model launch in 2014, for the Japan domestic market”.
Besides the new Subaru LEVORG Concept, the carmaker will also bring the Cross Sport design concept at the same 2013 Tokyo Motor Show. This represents Subaru’s vision of a new SUV and it will stand at 4,300 mm in length. There will also be a Subaru Crossover 7 Concept, with a seven-seat arrangement, a spacious interior and leather seats. The three concept cars will be officially unveiled on the 20th of November, along with the VIZIV Concept.
