Subaru is gearing up for massive presence at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show – next to the Viziv Performance concept they’ll have the handsome BRZ STI Sport special edition, the hardcore S208 WRX STI and new versions of some of its most popular models.
The XV, the Impreza, and the Outback have all been called into action to deliver new, unique cues just in time for a worldwide presentation on the floor of the Tokyo Motor Show. First off, we need to start with the popular XV crossover, ready to become the “Fun Adventure Concept,” which as the name implies means it’s going to become a little bit more capable when going off the beaten path. The catchy yellow paint is mixed with new black plastic body cladding on the front fascia, side fenders, and rear diffuser – with the theme complete with the bike rack up on the roof.
Next up is the Outback, going for increased premium feeling inside the cabin, thanks to “Ultrasuede” seats and panels, dark embossed silver accents, and a new eight-inch display for the infotainment system boasting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support. The exterior revisions include additional premium elements, such as the bespoke grille and alloy wheels. The Impreza, meanwhile, tries to be sportier, coming out as the “Future Sport Concept.” It includes a lower ride height for a dropped center of gravity, fresh front and rear bumpers, as well as dynamic center exhaust tips. Black touches – the smoked headlights and taillights, black alloys as well as new LED elements acting as fog lights – add to the panache.
