Subaru has recently unveiled the WRX and WRX STI special editions at the 2012 SEMA Motor Show in Las Vegas, announcing that the two models will go on sale locally in early 2013.

According to the Japanese based automaker, the Subaru WRX and the Subaru WRX STI special editions are dressed in orange and black and the cars can be distinguished by their black accents on the mirrors, body stripes and wheels. Unfortunately Subaru hasn’t released any interior images with the two models but the company says that the cabin is getting orange contrast stitching, custom floor mats and a black headliner.

Power to both the Subaru WRX and the Subaru WRX STI is being provided by a 2.5 liter four-cylinder turbocharged boxer engine, which, in the WRX, is producing a total output of 265 BHP (198 kW) and 330 Nm of torque (244 lb-ft), while in the WRX STI, the output developed stands at 305 BHP (227 kW) and 393 Nm of torque (290 lb-ft). The two special editions of the models will get a production limited to just 300 units, 200 for the WRX and 100 for the WRX STI and they will go on sale next spring.
