The first images with the Subaru WRX Concept have made its way onto the web, showing the model ahead of its public debut scheduled for the 2013 New York Auto Show.
The Japanese based automaker Subaru has already announced a “performance concept” for the 2013 New York Auto Show, but until now, nobody knew what this is about. The images posted below are showing the Subaru WRC Concept, a model which will be officially presented to the public during the 2013 New York Auto Show, over the following hours, which has an aggressive design and probably a powerful engine under its hood.
The Subaru WRX Concept has the obvious connections to the Impreza WRX, thanks to its pronounced hood scoop, to the square front grille, to the thick-set wings and more. The WRX Concept is also coming with a four-tailpipe exhaust system, with a rear diffuser, six-piston calipers finished in yellow and WRX badges in the same color. Rumors are saying that the Subaru WRX Concept is coming with a 2.0 liter four-cylinder boxer engine, which is good for 300 BHP, but this is yet to be confirmed. Additional details on the Subaru WRX Concept remain unknown for the moment and will be announced in New York.
