The new Subaru WRX S4 SporVita has been officially unveiled and it will be sharing spotlights with other brand new vehicles in the company’s lineup at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show.
The newest model signed by the Japanese based company is called the WRX S4 SporVita. The vehicle’s name is combining the Italian words for “sportiva”, ampoule meaning sports, health and “vita”, medical meaning life, adding some interesting items to its cabin, and not only, which should be making it highly desirable with its future customers.
The Subaru WRX S4 SporVita has the multi-spoke alloy wheels wrapped in 245/40 tires, 18-inch in size, and it is also bringing the standard EyeSight system on the Advanced Safety Package. The car is bringing the special trim inside it, along with the upholstery created in collaboration with Mario Levi, a well-known Italian leather maker. The two-tone leather finish on the gear lever, on the steering wheel and on the door panels is also visible.
Subaru is bringing a 2.0 liter turbocharged gasoline burner, with four cylinders, under the hood of the WRX S4 SporVita. The unit is capable of putting down a total of 300 HP (221 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque. The engine is connected to a Lineatronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission), sending power to the Symmetrical AWD system. We are not sure at this point whether the carmaker is planning on introducing this as a production model, offered locally, or if this is nothing more than a show car. This will be debuting on October 28, in Tokyo.
