Subaru has announced the introduction of the new XV Crosstrek Hybrid in the United States, where the cheapest version of the model will set you back for 26, 820 USD.
The new Subaru XV Crosstrek Hybrid is getting ready to storm the company’s dealerships across the North American soil, with the company launching it locally. The model in question is now available to its future customers from 26,820 USD, including destination charge and handling fee, for the base entry-level version, but if the Touring variant is what you’re looking for, you should know that this will set you back for at least 30,120 USD.
Motivation to the new Subaru XV Crosstrek Hybrid is being provided by a 2.0 liter four-cylinder Boxer engine, which is producing 148 HP and 145 lb-ft of torque, backed up by an electric motor, which is adding an extra 13 HP and 48 lb-ft of torque. Subaru says that the Touring version is getting the same engine under its hood and both vehicles are getting the Active Torque Split, which is developed form the company’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. The Subaru XV Crosstrek Hybrid has been officially presented to the public during the 2013 New York Auto Show, this spring.
