Being strongly related to the Impreza, a car that has entered the automotive hall of fame with the WRX and STI, the XV crossover is just about to enter the spotlights at the Frankfurt Motor Show this month and it already catches all the attention after Subaru released a teaser image of the new model.
We don’t know too many official details about the new XV yet, but we can tell you the crossover is powered by a 2.0 liter boxer engine which is mated to a CVT gearbox, known as the Lineartronic. The new Subaru XV is 4.450 mm long, 1.780 mm wide and 1.570 mm tall, having a wheelbase of 2.635 mm.
The Japanese car manufacturer has stopped here with releasing official details about the new Subaru XV but one thing is for sure, the model will have some serious competition in both European and Asian automakers.
The Subaru booth at the Frankfurt Motor Show will also “star” the new BRZ, a technology concept that will preview a new sports car developed with Toyota.
