We already told you that Fiat Chrysler Automobiles seemed likely to return to the Super Bowl this year with a surprise TV ad, but new details revealed the automaker have up ticked the rev counter to three commercials.
Fiat Chrysler, which has been – as always – just as secretive as the NSA on the nature of its TV ads prepared for the big game on Sunday, says the first of the surprise bunch will come after the two-minute warning in the second quarter, while the second and third commercials will be aired in the third quarter. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles – now a traditional Super Bowl ad participant – joins previous confirmed entries from BMW, Kia, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan and Toyota. The rivals have been very active promoting their spots ahead of the game through teasers or even revealing them entirely – as is common among numerous companies.
Last year, the Chrysler, Jeep and Maserati brands aired spots during last year’s Championship game of the NFL football league, promoting both models and the overall brand image of the company. FCA comes off a very successful year in North America, where deliveries jumped 17 percent to 2.1 million units – outpacing the overall growth of 6 percent of the entire auto industry. The company also comes fresh off 57 consecutive months (almost five years!) of continued sales growth.
