The production version of the Suzuki Authentics concept has been recently spied completely naked in China.
After a few patent sketches with the model have ended up on the web a few weeks back, the Suzuki Authentics concept, in its final production form, is now being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of some spy photos, which are showing it with no camouflage on its body. The images in question have been taken in China and they are showing a more toned down version of the model which will go on sale in the last quarter of this year.
The Changan Suzuki joint venture is in charge of production and the model will be using the same platform as the Suzuki S-Cross. Power to the production version of the Suzuki Authentics concept will be provided by a four-cylinder 1.6 liter naturally aspirated engine, which is rated at 120 HP (89 kW) and by a new 1.4 liter four-cylinder, producing 100 HP (74 kW). The model will be known as the Alivio, once it will become available for order, and it’s believed to cost between 14,300 and 22,300 USD once it will hit the market. The debut of the car will be made at the Chengdu Auto Show, in August.
