The first images with the production version of the Suzuki Authentics have recently hit the web, as patent sketches, offering us a first preview into the final variant of the model.
Originally presented last year, during the Auto Shanghai, as a concept car, the new Suzuki Authentics is being ending up in our news once again, this time with the help of a few images, which are showing the production version of the model for the very first time. The images posted below are patent sketches and the first thing that pops in our minds is that the production variant as been slightly toned down and it’s less attractive than the concept.
The Suzuki Authentics will be produced by the company’s Chinese joint venture, the Chongqing Changan Suzuki Automobile Co. LTD and it will come as a replacement for the Suzuki SX4 Sedan in several markets, including the Indian sub-continent, where this new model will be known as the Maruti Ciaz. Rumors are saying that the final production version of this C-segment vehicle will be getting a 1.6 liter gasoline burner with four cylinders under its hood, which will be mated to a 5-speed manual or to an optional CVT. The Suzuki Authentics production version will be unveiled at 2014 Auto China, between 20-24 April.
