The Japanese based automaker Suzuki has unveiled the Grand Vitara Marine Concept at this year’s SEMA Motor Show, after teaming up with students from the Ohio Technical College, and even if the vehicle doesn’t have any chance of hitting the production line, it’s actually pretty important to its creators.
According to the Japanese car manufacturer, the Grand Vitara Marine Concept has been created to promote the company’s automotive and marine divisions, being highlighted by its drop-top, the Bull front bumper, the lifted suspension and Toyo off-road tires.
“The Grand Vitara Marine Concept exemplifies the unique combination of passion and innovation, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the finished product. It was a pleasure working with the students at Ohio Technical College, and we hope this motivates other groups to creatively express themselves and the passion they have for Suzuki and the automotive industry”, said the director of public relations and social media of American Suzuki, Jeff Holland.
Suzuki says that its Grand Vitara Marine Concept will be featured in the company’s show booth at upcoming automotive events, as well as the OTC’s exhibit at various AutoRama events throughout 2012.
