Suzuki has introduced yet another concept car, the Ignis, which will also be officially presented to the public at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show.
The brand new Suzuki Ignis Concept is going to be introduced, in just a few weeks, at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. The model in question appears to be production ready and it has been based on the iM-4 Concept, revealed earlier this year. The vehicle is bringing some notable changes which include the side mirrors, the headlights graphics and the rear bumper.
“The IGNIS shows how a compact car can straddle the boundary between daily life and leisure. A high eye point and plenty of road clearance ensure day-to-day convenience. They also allow confident driving on snowy roads and rough tracks, so weekends become a chance to enjoy the great outdoors”, says the automaker in the press release.
The interior design of the new Suzuki Ignis Concept is bringing the two-tone dashboard, an infotainment system with a tablet-style display and an automatic gearbox, from what we can see in the few images released by the Japanese based company. Under its hood, this is believed to get a 1.0 liter turbocharged engine, along with a 1.2 liter unit with the SHVS mild-hybrid system. The front-wheel drive will be offered in standard but customers will also be able to order the all-wheel drive system, as an option. More details on the model are limited at this point and will be announced in Tokyo, on the 29th of October.
