Suzuki has been recently spotted while testing the production version of the IV-4 concept, in Northern Europe, but because of its heavy camouflage, its lines cannot be distinguished.
Suzuki has officially pulled the wraps off the IV-4 Concept during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, in a premiere, and now the model is ending up in our news once again, this time in its final production form, thanks to these spy images. The new vehicle will be positioned between the Jimny and the Grand Vitara and it’s said to be rivaling models like the Nissan Juke, Renault Captur, Peugeot 2008, Opel Mokka, Ford EcoSport, Chevrolet Trax and so on.
The Suzuki IV-4, in its final production form, is said to come with both front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive, coming with the company’s ALLGRIP system. Production of the IV-4, which will most likely receive a different name soon, will start in 2015, in Hungary. Additional details on the model in question are limited but as a reminder, the concept version stood at 4,215 mm long, 1,850 mm wide, 1,665 mm tall and it was riding on 2,500 mm long wheelbase.
