The Japanese based automaker Suzuki has recently revealed its new generation of the Jimny / Samurai model ahead of its debut at the 2012 New Delhi Auto Expo.
The car manufacturer is working hard for the New Delhi Auto Expo, and even if the company’s models and the ones being developed by Land Rover don’t have anything in common, this event will make the British automaker skip the Detroit Auto Show. As you can see in the image posted above, the front grille of the vehicle seems to belong to a model which will most likely be the next generation of the Jimny / Samurai model. Sadly, the Japanese carmaker didn’t provide any details on this model, but more on it will soon come to light once the vehicle will be officially presented to the public at the 2012 New Delhi Auto Expo.
As a reminder, the Suzuki Jimny is a line of SUVs developed by Suzuki and the model has been in production ever since 1968, being available in two body styles, two-door sport utility vehicle and two-door convertible, coming as a Mini SUV. The current generation of the Jimny model is being made since 1998 and a replacement is on the way, as the image above is proving.
