Suzuki S-Cross production version unveiled

The Japanese based automaker Suzuki has recently pulled the wraps off its latest creation, a production version of the S-Cross Concept, which will rival the Nissan Qashqai.

The brand new Suzuki crossover remains unnamed for the moment but the model will enter production soon and it will be launched in several markets across Asia or the Old Continent over the following months. Suzuki didn’t announce any details on the C-segment crossover and the model is expected to be detailed for the very first time next month, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, where it will make its public debut.

The new Suzuki C-segment crossover is based on the S-Cross Concept, which was officially presented to the public for the first time a few months ago during the 2012 Paris Motor Show. The concept car was 4,310 mm long, 1,840 mm wide and 1,600 mm tall, being just 20 mm shorter, 60 mm wider and 15 mm lower than the Nissan Qashqai. Additional details on the S-Cross or its production version are limited for the moment and will be announced by Suzuki on the 5th of March, during the Swiss automotive event.
