The Japanese based automaker Suzuki is planning to launch the Swift Sedan in China where it might debut on the local market by the end of the year.
With the Suzuki Swift Sedan going on sale in India already, the Japanese based automaker Suzuki is planning to launch the model in China too but, even if there is no official word on this subject from the car manufacturer for the moment, the guys at chinacartimes.com are saying that the Suzuki Swift Sedan might make its way onto the Chinese market by the end of 2013.
The hatchback version of the Suzuki Swift is already produced in China by the Chang’an-Suzuki joint venture and the model is coming with a choice of two four-cylinder petrol engines, a 1.3 liter unit and a 1.5 liter unit but, for the sedan version of the model, more engines are expected to be offered in both petrol and diesel variants. The Suzuki Swift Sedan, which is currently on sale in India, is also known as the Dzire. More details on the sedan version of the Suzuki Swift for China will be announced close to its launch.
