Suzuki has introduced the new SX4 S-Cross to Australia, where the model will now become available to its future customers from 22,990 AUD.

Originally introduced back in 2012, during the Paris Motor Show, in a concept form, and unveiled during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, in its final production variant, the brand new SX4 X-Cross is now available for order in Australia too, where three grades have been introduced, the GL, the GLX and the GLX Prestige. The model in question is coming with a new AWD system, standard on the GLX Premium and available as an option on the mid-spec GLX, which is providing four driving modes, the Auto, the Sport, the Snow and the Lock.

The 2014 Suzuki SX4 S-Cross is 100 kg lighter than the previous generation of the SX4, despite it has grown in size and it now stands at 4,300 mm in length, 1,765 mm in width and 1,575 mm in height, being 150 mm longer, 10 mm wider and 30 mm lower than before. As far as the engine goes, Australians will only get the 1.6 liter four-cylinder petrol burner, with its 86 kW and 156 Nm of torque, mated to either a 5-speed manual or a CVT.
