Suzuki unveils three concept cars for Tokyo image

A total of three brand new concept cars have been unveiled by Suzuki ahead of their public debut scheduled for next month, during the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show.

The first one to be unveiled is the so-called Suzuki X-LANDER Concept, which is actually riding on the same platform as the Jimny. The Suzuki X-LANDER Concept is coming with four-wheel drive system and under its hood it has a 1.3 liter engine, backed up by an electric motor. Power is sent to the wheels through an automatically-controlled manual transmission. Next one to be unveiled is the HUSTLER Concept, a crossover fitting in the minicar segment designed for those who love the outdoors.

Last but not least, the Japanese based automaker has shown the Suzuki Crosshiker compact crossover concept. This is actually an alternative to the 2011 Regina Concept and it weighs just 810 kg (1,785 lbs), taking its power from a 1.0 liter three-cylinder engine. Suzuki failed to go into more specifics on these three brand new concept cars so our guess is that the models will be highlighted during the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, once the model will officially open its gates next month.
