As it is being aimed to celebrate the model’s 40th anniversary and will become available in just 1,000 units.
The newest model to be signed by Volkswagen has been called the Polo Original Special Edition. The vehicle is celebrating the original Polo, introduced back in 1975, as the company has managed to sell more than 14 million units of the car over these four decades. The special edition is being launched in Germany where it will become available in just 1,000 units and all of them will be offered in the five-door body style, with a choice of six engine-transmission variations.
Volkswagen is allowing customers to choose between different paint schemes, including the Honey Orange Metallic seen above, and all vehicles have received the body colored side mirror caps, the darkened taillights with the Original emblem, the updated door sills and the Original emblem on the fender. Other goodies added to the model include the LED headlights, the glossy black radiator grille and the 16-inch Portago wheels. The VW Polo Original Special Edition is bringing numerous cabin tweaks as well and these include the black and orange plaid upholstery with faux leather side bolsters, the aluminum pedals, the automatic climate control system, the Front Assist with City Emergency Braking, the rear view camera and so on. The pricing for the new Volkswagen Polo Original Special Edition is starting from 19,950 euros and compared to an identical equipped version, it’s bringing savings of up to 1,120 euros.
