McLaren Special Operations have pulled the wraps off a brand new model, a 570S Coupe.
If you thought that the MSO is dealing only with the hot P1, think again because the British brand is proving otherwise. McLaren Newport Beach has released a set of live images with the newest creation signed by MSO, this particular 570S Coupe, which is wearing a Mauvine Blue paint finish covering its body, along with a glossy black carbon fiber look of the body parts, Carbon Black leather upholstery in the cabin, carbon fiber trim, the Mauvine Blue accents on the seats, dashboard and steering wheel and several other goodies. The sports car has been unveiled at the 2015 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance a few days back and it is currently on display at McLaren Newport Beach.
The McLaren 570S has been officially unveiled earlier this year as the first addition to the Sports Series range. This has been joined by a detuned version, the 540C, and it is making use of the popular 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 engine. The sports car is getting 570 HP (419 kW) and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque, which is enough for a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) made in just 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 328 km/h (204 mph). The exotic vehicle has made the McLaren brand more affordable and in the United Kingdom this has a starting price of 143,250 GBP, making it more expensive than its main rivals, the Porsche 911 Turbo S and the Audi R8 V10 Plus.
