Tata Motors’ total sales (including exports) of Tata commercial and passenger vehicles in February 2012 were 92,119 vehicles, higher by 19 per cent over February 2011.
The total passenger vehicle sales in the domestic market stood at 34,832 units in February, up 9.16 per cent from 31,909 units in the same month last year.
The company’s domestic sales of Tata commercial and passenger vehicles for February 2012 were 86,704 vehicles, higher by 19 per cent over 73,039 nos., sold in February last year.
The ‘Indica’ range reported sales of 10,424 units, up 3.78 percent while the ‘Indigo’ family recorded sales of 8,595 units, down 4.14 per cent from 8,966 units in the same month of 2011.
On the same time, the Indian giant said the export level increased by 20.23 per cent to 5,415 units last month from 4,504 units in the same month last year.
