Tata Xenon was launched in India image

The Indian based automaker Tata Motors has recently announced that the Xenon pickup truck has been launched on the local market, which is priced from 5.44 lakhs.

According to the car manufacturer, the Tata Xenon is an utilitarian pickup truck which is coming with a choice of two engine options, a 3.0 liter diesel engine equipped with a turbo and an intercooler, along with a 3.0 liter DICOR commonrail diesel unit, with the first one producing a total output of 72 horsepower and 223 Nm of torque while the DICOR developing 115 HP and 300 Nm of torque. Tata also has a 2.2 liter DICOR Euro 5 with variable geometry turbo, generating a total output of 150 HP and 320 Nm of torque.

The Tata Xenon pickup truck is available in two body styles, as a single cab and as a double cab and the model is “bragging” itself with some best in class points like the service interval of 15,000 km or the 300,000 km warranty or three years. The single cab version of the Xenon is getting a 244 X 122 cm bed with drop sides. The Tata Xenon has a base starting price set at 5.44 lakhs in India.
