MINI has released the first teaser image with the upcoming Clubman which will be making its public debut in just a few months, during the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.
The 2016 MINI Clubman is just around the corner but before the carmaker will be officially pulling the wraps off its body, during the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, which will be opening its gates this September. The largest model ever to have been produced by MINI is going to get the rear barn-styled doors and chances are that it will stand at the same dimensions as the ones of the concept version, meaning 4,223 mm in length, 1,844 mm in width and 1,450 mm in height, meaning that it will be 260 mm linger, 161 mm longer and 24 mm taller compared to the first generation. The same UKL platform will be used in its creation and the engine lineup will include diesel and petrol burners, with either 3 or 4 cylinders and turbocharging. The Clubman S version is said to come with a 2.0 liter turbo producing 192 HP (141 kW) & 300 Nm (221 lb-ft) with overboost, along with a range-topping JCW, rated at 231 HP (170 kW) and 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) of torque. The 2016 MINI Clubman is expected to be offered for sale right after the German automotive event.
