The first ever teaser image with the upcoming BMW M2 Coupe has been released recently by the German based automaker.
BMW is taking a step forward from testing the new M2 Coupe and it has released the first ever teaser image with the model. However, don’t expect to find out something you didn’t know already on the upcoming range-topping model of the 2-Series Coupe because it isn’t revealing anything and, in fact, it doesn’t even have the car in it.
The photo, which has been released on the company’s Facebook page, is bringing the M2 Coupe forwards which will be offered above the current M235i, or its replacement, the rumored M240i. The high performance compact two-door coupe is believed to be offered with four exterior paint finishes which will be including the Long Beach Blue, the Black Sapphire, the Alpine White and the Mineral Grey, and to get the black leather with blue stitching inside it. It will be riding on the 19-inch black rims.
Some of the goodies found on it will include the adaptive headlights, the power heated front seats, rearview camera, Harman Kardon audio system, Internet access, tinted windows and much more. Under its hood, a 3.0 liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine is expected to be found, rated at 370 HP and up to 500 Nm with overboost. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration should take less than 4.5 seconds and top speed will be limited to 250 km/h (155 mph). The BMW M2 Coupe will begin its deliveries close to the end of this year or even in early 2016.
