The Italian based automaker Fiat has released the first official teaser image with the successor of the popular Linea, as the vehicle will be unveiled later on this month, in Istanbul.
Fiat is taking one step at a time in pulling the wraps off the successor of the Linea as the company is now releasing the first teaser image with the car. The photo is showing us part of the rear end design, with the stylish taillights, the integrated rear spoiler, the more curvaceous body and the stronger character lines. If you were hoping to find out more about the new generation of the Fiat Linea, or whatever this will be called, you will be disappointed because the carmaker is tending to keep things a secret at this time.
The brand new Fiat Linea is believed to be based on the Small Wide platform, which is made by the Fiat Group and used on the Jeep Renegade and Fiat 500X, and this basically means that production costs will be kept low and it will be translated into the final price of the car. Expect some LED DRLs, LED headlights and taillights, modified front and rear fascias, a new engine lineup and upgraded transmissions for the model in question. Additional details on the 2016 Fiat Linea are limited at this time and will be announced later on this month, during the 2015 Istanbul Motor Show, where the vehicle will be officially presented to the public.
