The first official sketch with the new compact crossover signed by Honda has been released by the company and this will be making its public debut close to the end of the month in Shanghai.
The Japanese based automaker Honda is choosing the 2015th edition of the Shanghai Motor Show in order to pull the wraps off its compact crossover. The model in question will have some serious competitors in the market, such as the Nissan Qashqai, but it is promising to bring an appealing design, a spacious cabin, a lot of safety technologies and a wide engine lineup under its hood.
The 2016 Honda compact crossover, which is being previewed these days by the image posted above, is bringing the familiar front fascia, with the company’s grille surrounded by the slender headlights, some chrome tweaks on the front fenders, on the front fascia and on the side sills and large alloy wheels with an appealing design.
The vehicle in question seems to have a three-door body style but chances are this will be introduced in a five-door version. We can also notice the sloping roofline which will give it a sportier look. Besides the new compact crossover, Honda will also pull the wraps off the facelifted version of the CR-V, off the City and the U.S.-spec Accord Hybrid. More details on these models are limited at this time and will be announced during the 2015 Shanghai Auto Show, on the 22nd of April.
