Techart reworks the Porsche Cayenne into wide body, raw power menace image

The tuning specialist has decided the best selling Porsche model deserves its attention once more and has thus come up with an upgrade of its Magnum tuning program tailored for the Cayenne SUV.

Porsche is already doing the rounds with its prototypes of the third generation Cayenne but we all know the current generation still lots of oomph and this is why tuners are still attracted to it. The latest aftermarket iteration is coming from Techart, with its Magnum package that features an evolution – bringing a wide body conversion for Stuttgart’s biggest crossover. Apparently this flashy depiction is not just to impress the ladies but also brings increased aerodynamic efficiency along with better cooling and optimized heat dissipation. Design wise, we see fresh new bumpers and wider side skirts for a more menacing stance and the carbon fiber add-ons are there to enhance appeal even further. The hood is entirely made out of carbon fiber and the lightweight material is also adorning the roof-mounted spoiler at the rear.

Of course the stylistic choices are completed via the mandatory fresh set of alloys – 22-inch Formula IV – which can be corroborated with color-coordinated brake calipers in matte or multi-color finish. Techart is also bringing a custom air suspension module and an automatic parking level function to lower the Cayenne when the SUV is locked in order to create “a powerful appearance.” There is also a choice of power enhancement packages: the Cayenne Diesel gets a bump of 28 hp (21 kW), the Diesel S has an extra 35 hp (26 kW), the GTS gains 40 hp (20 kW) and the mighty Turbo can break the bank with its 700 hp (522 kW) and 679 lb-ft (920 Nm).
