The German aftermarket specialists at Techart have recently presented a customization program for the new Porsche Boxster.
Techart is known for upgrading Porsche vehicles and now the tuner is proving once again that the Boxster isn’t necessarily a model bought only because the customer can’t afford a 911. The tuning company is pulling the wraps off a new customization program for the Porsche Boxster, which includes new rims, upgraded suspension system, a different exhaust system and carbon fiber inserts.
“The TECHART individualization program for the Porsche 981 offers the driver a range of options for making his Boxster into an unmistakable individual piece. There are no limits to the refinement options from the TECHART light alloy and forged wheels, the exclusive exterior and interior styling packages through to the customized and handmade TECHART interior work”, as the company is saying in its official press release.
Techart says that the Porsche Boxster customization program is adding 21-inch Formula light alloy wheels with a five-spoke design, twin tailpipes made out of stainless steel which can be equipped with a custom muffler, sport springs which can lower the ride height by 30 mm at the front and 20 mm at the back, a carbon fiber package, leather options, decorative stitching, three-spoke steering wheel with paddle shifters and more. Additional details on this customization program will be announced at the 2012 Essen Motor Show in December.
