A new rendering with the Tesla Model S is showing the popular electric sedan in a new body style, a two-door coupe.
Tesla Motors will be expanding its lineup soon with the introduction of the Model X crossover but the company might eventually consider adding new body styles to the already available models. The image posted above is a rendering posted by X-Tomi Design which is showing the popular Tesla Model S into a two-door coupe body style. We have to admit that it looks quite appealing and it should be a good alternative to customers who aren’t interested in the version currently available.
The Tesla Model S is a full sized electric vehicle which is in production since June 2012. The model is currently being assembled in the United States, in Fremont, California, and in Europe, at the Tilburg facility in the Netherlands. The Tesla Model S is coming with an electric motor rated at 416 HP (310 kW) and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft), connected to a one-speed fixed gear transmission. Depending on the battery chosen, with 60 kWh or 85 kWh, the total range of the car can stand between 375 km (233 miles) and 500 km (310 miles).
