Tesla’s Elon Musk to appear on ‘The Simpsons’ image

Even if you have global influence, world dominating power and incredible wealth, you’re not somebody until you make a guest appearance on The Simpsons. Remember, we’re talking here about the longest-running American sitcom!

Elon Musk, the billionaire entrepreneur and CEO of both Tesla Motors and SpaceX, and of PayPal fame, is now scheduled to make an appearance in the latest episode of the animated show. And word of mouth touts Musk’s introduction not as a cameo, but rather stealing the spotlights and dominating the episode. It looks like Musk – with his ongoing belief in the power of sustainable energy – is set to demolish and take to bankruptcy The Simpsons’ own billionaire character, Mr. Burns – an 104-year old nuclear plant owner.

There will be no surprises if the cartoonized version of the premium Model S electric car also makes a brief cameo, though the model has already appeared in an animated show. Also, Musk is no stranger to Hollywood apparitions himself, as he was previously seen briefly in the hit movie Iron Man 2, next to Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow.

The special appearance was officially revealed during San Diego’s Comic-Con, a fan convention that has grown so big in recent years that even automakers are showcasing their products there.
