Mazda has officially introduced the new Mazda2 Sedan at the Thailand Motor Show, in its public debut.
After it has been unveiled online a couple of weeks ago, the brand new Mazda2 Sedan is now being highlighted once again, this time with the carmaker bringing it to the 2014 Thailand Motor Show, where it made its public debut. The Mazda2 Sedan is coming with the same Kodo design language, which has been used on its larger brothers, the 3 and the 6, and also some other vehicles signed by the car manufacturer.
The vehicle in question has an appealing design and it will be getting the MZD Connect infotainment system, in the next generation, two airbags, an active driving display, air conditioning, dynamic stability control system, regenerative braking and several other tweaks. As far as the engine lineup goes, this will include the 105 HP (77 kW) and 220 Nm (162 lb-ft) of torque 1.5 liter diesel SKYACTIV-D. The new Mazda2 will go on sale soon in Thailand and if it will all go as planned, the company will be introducing it in Australia too, in the same year, and we might even see it in Europe.
