Chrysler’s oldest auto brand has just unveiled its latest SUV. The 2016 Jeep Wrangler Black Bear Edition is named after a “notorious Jeep trail in Telluride, Colorado” and is based on the Wrangler Sport.
The special car edition has a Satin Black grille, Mineral Gray accents, a topographical map of Black Bear Pass on its hood, rock rails, tail lamp guards and a black fuel filler door. It also features a Sunrider soft top and 17-inch five-spoke alloy wheels with a black finish.
And now for the interior, the car has received a modest makeover having black cloth Sedoso seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and an Iron Gray trim. The special edition of the car also has floor mats, Connectivity and Power Convenience Groups and air conditioning. For when you just can’t take the heat in a Jeep.
The practical elements of the package include rock rails—reinforced rocker panels to resist damage from boulders and a set of Kevlar-reinforced Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor tires on black-finish 17-inch wheels. Besides that, the Black Bear package seems to have been created to make its driver look good as you’re threading your way through the switchbacks.
The customers can pick from a variety of colors if they decide on a model, as choices vary from Billet Silver, Black, Bright White, Firecracker Red, Granite Crystal, Hydro Blue,Tank, to its lately newest added colors – Hypergreen and Mojavo Rhino Sand. While de pricing has not been revealed yet, the Black Bear Edition will be available as a Wrangler and a Wrangler Unlimited.
