The largest luxury automaker in the world, BMW AG, has decided to add even more panache to its recently introduced new generation 7 Series flagship, treating it to M Performance parts and accessories.
The new top model has promised comfort and technology at the highest level and will boast its lightweight concept Carbon Core that is now deeply embedded when it debuts in front of the public in the official world premiere during the 2015 IAA Frankfurt motor show. But the Bavarian brand is already happy to add some new amenities through the BMW Accessories Program. Inside we’ll find M Performance parts, such as a matte black rear spoiler, to add a sporty feel to the otherwise massive limousine. The customers can also add a side sill foil, to complement the M Sport Package or an M Aerodynamics Package or an M Performance front grille slat with decorative black surround. Further on, you could provide some craftsmanship by having the standard door mirror caps replaced by M Performance carbon door mirror caps. Not forgetting the alloys, you could choose the 21-inch BMW M Performance lightweight wheels, with forged double spokes that are around two kilograms lighter than their standard aluminum counterparts.
Inside the cabin, you could switch to a set of BMW M Performance premium steel pedal covers or you could retrofit the wireless charging function thanks to a snap-in adapter. There’s also a new wireless charging case from the original accessory range that boasts the function for Apple iPhones (5, 5S, 6 and 6 Plus). Adding a touch of sportiness might be great, but we shouldn’t forget comfort in the 7 Series – and we won’t thanks to the BMW travel blanket made out of high-quality, extra fine merino wool.
