Well, at least that’s the vibe we’re getting from this independent “work of art” depicting one of DC Comics’ most iconic villains of all times – though some might argue with the choice of Joker version.

Superhero movies are all the rage this day and age – so it’s only natural automakers and others are interested in matching fanboys and girls with vehicles that match the “interesting” personas seen in movies. We might remember Audi’s work with Marvel, Kia’s latest attempt to attract Iron Man on its side for the Kona introduction or the DC-themed Jeep Renegade. This superhero – supervillain actually – supercar partnership is rather unique, as it has been inspired by the relative newcomers Suicide Squad and Jared Leto’s depiction of the Joker character.

The creator is named Rene Turrek, who is actually quite versed in the world of superhero car-themed conversions, having previously worked on mashups such as the Captain America Ford Mustang, and the Iron Man Lamborghini Aventador. The super villain does get a little more economical – the i8 is packing a 357-horsepower (266-kilowatt) 1.5-liter three-cylinder hybrid engine setup, which grants it some stealth electric miles at least. The body has a three-tone red, green, and silver base finish, onto which the artist plastered the appropriate super villain scheme – Joker face, logos and symbols from the film, along with LED lighting fixtures.
