The upcoming Geneva Motor Show is apparently a huge venue for the British exotic brand – as Aston Martin will unveil the AM-RB 001 hypercar in Europe for the first time at a show and also deliver the Collection series of Q by Aston Martin cars.
Naturally the highlight of the Collection series done by the automaker’s bespoke unit will be the new DB11. All vehicles done by the exotic division will feature a unique shade nicknamed Zaffre Blue. The vehicles will also be adorned with gloss, satin twill and forged carbon fiber details, including front splitter, side sills, rear diffuser side strakes, bonnet strakes, and door mirrors. Inside the cockpit the same styling has been applied with the new blue hue embossed on the door cards and seats, where the Q by Aston Martin Logo is embossed on the headrests. There’s also a color-matching four-piece luggage set available through Collection.
Because Q by Aston Martin is a visual detailer, the DB11 remains the same in terms of powertrain details. The supercar will have the same beating heart – 5.2-liter biturbo V12 engine, packing 600 horsepower (447 kilowatts) and 516 pound-feet of torque (700 Newton-meters). This is enough to propel the car to 62 miles per hour (100 kilometers per hour) in 3.9 seconds and then on to a maximum speed of 200 mph (322 km/h). The new bespoke DB 11 will share the spotlight with Aston Martin’s V8 and V12 Vantage S Red Bull Racing editions.
