Queen Elizabeth II has placed an order for the brand new Bentley Bentayga, the company’s first ever SUV.

The Bentley Bentayga has what it needs to become a hit with the world’s most famous and powerful people and the first order placed by a well-known person has been announced by Wolfgang Durheimer, the company’s CEO. According to the Bentley official, Queen Elizabeth II has placed an order of the ultra-luxurious SUV. Besides the Queen, Bentley has also received another 3,600 orders for the impressive model and Durheimer says that despite the 160,200 GBP starting price, the SUV can get extra goodies which will bring its total price to more than 500,000 GBP.

Bentley has pulled the wraps off the Bentayga at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show and it is bringing a familiar front fascia along with a luxurious interior design. The vehicle has 10.2-inch tablets for the rear entertainment system, individual rear seats, 1950-watt Naim Bentley Premium Audi System and other features. Under its hood, the model is bringing a 6.0 liter TSI W12 engine, in the range-topping variant, which is rated at 608 HP (447 kW) and 900 Nm (663 lb-ft) of torque. This will be followed shortly by a diesel unit, a V8, and by a plug-in hybrid version as well, which should be added to the range in a couple of years. The Bentley Bentayga can reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in just a little over 4 seconds and it can go up to a top speed of 301 km/h (187 mph). The SUV is riding on the same platform as the new-gen Audi Q7.
