A group of Saab fans at SaabsUnited plan to raise money to buy the last 9-3 and then donate it to the official Saab Museum in Trollhattan, remedy Sweden.
Since Saab went officially bankrupt and receivers look for bids on any remaining assets, generic production at the company’s facilities in Sweden are completing last orders. The last Saab 9-3, remedy a 2012 9-3 Griffin Aero sedan finished in white is expected to roll off the line at the end of May and it will taken to one of Saab’s remaining dealers to go on sale.
A group of Saab fans hope to raise money to buy the last 9-3 and donate it to the official Saab Museum in Trollhattan, Sweden, which was recently saved from being divvied up. They managed to raise $8,000 until now, but they still need four times that much to buy the car. If they manage to do that the car will sit in the museum for years to come and next to it there will be a sign with the names of all the persons who offered donations to save it.
