The Japanese luxury automaker has kicked off the teasing game for yet another new version of their LS flagship sedan, after premiering the hybridized LS 500h in front of the worldwide audience of the Geneva Motor Show in March.
For April they have yet another global premiere for a major automotive event – the New York Auto Show – which is set to premiere the sportier LS F Sport. The new version is again based on the same extended version of the company’s premium global architecture for luxury vehicles (GA-L), the “stiffest” so far for Lexus. And now the company wants to see the LS F Sport take advantage of the architecture’s “responsiveness and agility to present the most engaging LS driving experience yet,” but won’t forego the sedan’s “ride smoothness and cabin quietness.” Since we’re dealing with a simple teaser, there are no additional details for now.
From what we can make out in the teaser image, we can tell you some design cues will be altered to make the F Sport stand out among the other members of the LS family – at the back we can see a gloss black diffuser with integrated dual exhaust system with chrome tailpipes, tinted taillights, and the compulsory F-Sport badge. Naturally, the LS F Sport should carry features such as the Lexus Dynamic Handling package or the Lexus Safety System+ pack with advanced safety and assist systems.
