The new 2013 Volkswagen CC Unveiled before L.A. Show Debut image

With a new front and rear styling, Volkswagen presents the new 2013 CC four-door coupé. The coupé will be publicly unveiled later this month at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show and goes on sale at U.S. dealers in the spring.

On the outside, HID Xenon headlamps with an active system that directs light in concert with the steering wheel are standard. Also standard: fatigue detection, RCD 310 radio-CD system, stainless steel door sill plates and safety head restraints with additional longitudinal adjustment (front seats).

The redesigned hood and a revised lower air dam, resemble those used on the revised 2011 Phaeton

Inside, there is a new Phaeton-style analogue clock on the dashboard and optional brown trim.

New assistance systems like Side Assist Plus with integrated Lane Assist and Dynamic Light Assist are making their way into the new 2013 VW Passat CC.

When will debut later this month at the 2011 LA Auto Show, the US model will be equipped with the 2.0 TSI with 200 hp or a bigger 3.6 FSI V6 with 280 hp.

All of the diesels in Europe – 103 kW / 140 PS and 125 kW /170 PS (TDI) are equipped with a Stop/Start system and battery regeneration mode (for recovering braking energy) as standard.
