The German car manufacturer BMW is taking advantage of the rising auto sales in India by expanding its variety of products with the releasing of the new X3 model.
The Bavarian mini SUV will have the same competition on the Indian auto market as in Europe, battling the Audi or Mercedes-Benz. The new X3 has slightly different lines compared to the current model and looks more like its bigger “brother”, the X5.
The new BMW X3 will be available on the Indian auto market with both petrol and diesel version, featuring a 2.5 liter petrol which is developing about 206 HP and 246 Nm of torque, with a 210 km/h top speed and a 0 to 100 km/h in just under 10 seconds sprint. Diesel enthusiasts will have to settle with the 2.0 liter unit, which is producing 176 HP and 350 Nm of torque, reaching a 200 km/h top speed and going from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 10 seconds.
The new BMW X3 won’t be cheap on the Indian auto market and it is expected to follow its competition for around 94.000 US dollars. The Bavarian mini SUV will be available in showrooms on the 25th of August.
