The British unit of the Spanish automaker has announced the first pricing information for the company’s first SUV model – the Ateca – which debuts in the country with the First Edition.
The Seat Ateca First Edition will go from 21, 995 British pounds when the order roster is opened starting June – and the exclusivity of the series is ensured by the availability of just 200 units. The starting price of £21, 995 will deliver a turbocharged, three-cylinder 115-hp 1.0 TSI gasoline engine – and the 115-hp 1.6 TDI diesel will be a cool £24,305. Customers can only select three exterior paints – Samoa Orange, Rodium Grey, and Nevada White.
According to Seat, the First Edition is an intermediate trim level, set in between the SE and the range-topping XCELLENCE, bringing £3,500 worth of kit compared to the SE –with a savings of £1,100. As such, the Ateca First Edition includes things such as bi-color 18-inch alloy wheels, an electric tailgate (with “virtual pedal”), rear parking sensors plus rearview camera, as well as dark tinted rear windows. More so, the model also includes black window surrounds and roof rails, keyless entry, and a sat-nav system with an eight-inch touchscreen display. The pre-orders start in June and the first deliveries are scheduled for September 9th. The most basic Ateca is the S version which starts from £17,990, followed by the SE trim at £19,590, and the XCELLENCE at £23,905.
