Ultima Sports, a British car brand, has officially pulled the wraps off the Ultima Evolution, a hypercar with no less than 1,020 HP (760 kW).
The hypercar segment has increased recently with a new addition signed by Ultima Sports. This is a British specialty marque and the model introduced is called the Ultima Evolution. It is offered in two body styles, Coupe and Convertible, coming with LED headlights and taillights, with a fully adjustable suspension system, with 18-inch alloy wheels covered in Michelin PS2 245/35 and 335/30 tires, front to rear, air conditioning, leather and Alcantara upholstery, satellite navigation system, rearview camera, rear parking sensors, start button, an Alpine entertainment system and several other tweaks.
The most important part of the model is found under its hood where the Chevrolet LS V8 engine can be found. This is offered in no less than 15 power tunes, from 350 HP (261 kW) to a whopping 1,020 HP (760 kW). In the range-topping version, the peak torque stands at 1,246 Nm (920 lb-ft), thanks to the 6.8L supercharged unit. The 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) acceleration is made in just 2.3 seconds and the model needs 4.9 seconds to reach 100 mph (160 km/h) from a standstill. The 0 to 150 mph (241 km/h) sprint takes 8.9 seconds and top speed is 240 mph (386 km/h). The Ultima Evolution is 4,000 mm long, 1,850 mm wide and 1,070 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,560 and a ground clearance (adjustable) of 120 mm. The quarter mile takes 9.2s to complete, at 156 mph.
