The Swiss auto show will feature two bespoke Regeras, a unique Agera RS tailored version and come to Geneva with a total of 4,360 horsepower.
The Koenigsegg Regera is most likely going to be a bespoke series of 80 units – we’ve seen the capabilities of the in-house workforce at tailoring the model. It also has the right hypercar credentials – with 1,500-horsepower (1,118-kilowatt) biturbo V8 assisted by a triumvirate of electric motors for the highest output ever in a production hybrid. At the Geneva Motor Show, the automaker will show to the entire world the series first two production models. The first ever Regera to be delivered is painted green – a tribute to the classic British Racing Green, and it’s so light that the weave of the carbon fiber body panels can be seen with the naked eye. The cabin gets a Saddle Brown leather with a basket weave and flat leather combination.
The second Regera has a catchy apple red exterior with a clear carbon fiber centerpiece and a matching red hood stripe – matched with exposed carbon side air intakes and a black leather with highlights of Lingonberry for the interior. And it also has those optional Koenigsegg carbon fiber wheels. But wait, there’s even more in the form of the bespoke Agera RS Gryphon. The unique model has a clear carbon fiber finish with 24-carat gold leaf accents on the striping, badging, and even the hood struts. There’s also a bespoke racing helmet – also finished in gold leaf. The custom job was done at the Koenigsegg plant in Angelholm by Italian master craftsman, Ettore ‘Blaster’ Callegaro. Motivation is provided by the biturbo V8 packing 1,360 horsepower (1,014 kilowatts), and the car tips the scales at just 3,075 pounds (1,395 kilograms), which is incredibly close to what the One:1 can achieve.
