Just peering over the photos you might mistake these vehicles for being the real deal – albeit covered in some crazy wrap. But in fact these are works of art sculpted form scrap metal.
While the level of detailing is simply astonishing, and accuracy is off the charts considering the scope of the project, these sculptures have been entirely manufactured from thousands of small pieces of scrap metal. This is the collective work of 50 artists gathered around from all over the world at a scrap yard in Warsaw, Poland to create these works of art. They include a 1950s Mercedes 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupe, a Lamborghini Aventador, a Maserati GranTurismo MC, a Bugatti Veyron, a Pagani Zonda R, and a classic Fiat 500. And because they look so damn’ good we’re even letting them slide on the smallish Italian.
Everything, from the exterior to the cabin and engine has been replicated as accurate as possible, with the doors and hoods being accessible – so you can even sit inside these sculptures. The works of art are now on display at the Galleria Figur Stalowych in Pruszkow, Poland and will also be exhibited during the 2017 Dubai Auto Show – and we’re pretty sure the artists will snatch a very good artists’ purse from the sheikhs.
