And it’s not even real, but that doesn’t really matter when you’re an Alfa fan.
BMW is already offering an M4 Convertible and rumor has it that Mercedes-Benz will apply the AMG treatment on the C-Class Cabrio so this will be giving the Alfa Romeo QV Cabrio two main competitors if the Italian based automaker will decide to give it a go. The image posted above is nothing more than a simple rendering, put together by X-Tomi Design. The model has received a chopped off roof, a rear deflector and what seems to be a 2-seat layout. Not exactly what we can call practical but, to be honest, we want it!
This is not the first rendering of the Alfa Romeo Giulia as we have already shown you the Coupe and the more practical Estate versions a few days back. The Alfa Romeo Giulia is the official successor of the 159. The model in question has been officially unveiled just last week and it was shown in its range-topping Quadrifoglio Verde version. This basically means that it is taking aim at the BMW M3, Mercedes-AMG C63 S, Cadillac ATS-V and so on. Under its hood, Alfa says that the Giulia has received a six-cylinder turbocharged Ferrari-sourced engine, aluminum-made, rated at 503 HP (375 kW). This is translated into a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint of 3.9s. Sadly, the company didn’t release any more performance specifications on the model but with the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show just around the corner, chances are we will hear more about it then.
